Dell Latitude ST 10.1 inch Windows 7 Tablet

Motorola just announced their powerful 10.1 inch Windows tablet, called Dell Latitude ST. Dell Latitude ST tablet made with a rubberized bumper to protect accidental drops, TPU overmold and an 10.1 inch LED multi capacitive touchscreen dislay with resolution of 1366 x 768 pixels and protected with antiglare Corning Glass screen. It’s also completed with PIXE Wide Viewing Angle technology to give more viewing angle, stylus support and support Full HD 1080p video playback.

Designed for business user and other professionals working in the field, Dell ST 10.1 inch tablet comes with some security features to protect critical data, such as a Kensington Lock slot, Microsoft Windows 7 Bitlocker to encrypt, compatibility with VMware and Citrix virtualization to remotely delete data, an optional TPM 1.2 (Trusted Platform Module) and optional magnetic stripe reader and bar-code scanner through a USB port. The device also allow users make video chats or self potraits via 1.3 MP camera in the front, record 720p HD video with the 5MP rear facing camera and work with this tablet up to 6 hours with 4-cell lithium-ion battery on the inside.

For the heart of the device, Dell Latitude ST will be equipped with a 1.5 GHz Intel Atom Z670 single core processor, 2GB of DDR2 RAM, Intel GMA 600 for graphics cards, up to 128GB SSD for storage, Intel SM35 chipset, High Quality Mono Speaker, and running on Windows 7 Professional OS. Dell also claims if the new Dell Latitude series will be compatible with upcoming Windows 8. In term of size, it has dimension in 270mm x 15mm x 186mm with weight starting at 1.8lbs / 816g, so you can easily slip into your bag.
The company also will be shipping the Latitude ST tablet with full range of connectivity options including Stereo headphone/Microphone combo jack, micro USB 2.0 slot, micro SD slot (support 32GB), GPS, Bluetooth 4.0 LE, Wireless 802.11a/b/g/n and support 3G network via Single-mode HSPA+ Mini Card. Dell Latitude ST 10.1 inch Windows 7 tablet also pre loaded with Adobe Flash, Adobe AIR, Microsoft Silverlight, Waves Maxx Audio 3, External USB DVD+/-RW (optional) with built in Cyberlink Power DVD and optional docking port for extra USB, HDMI, Audio and Gigabit LAN port. However, no information about princing until this moment, but according to the internet rumors we’re assuming between 500-600 euros or below $1000
